Short version

We don't want your data. We don't even want your email. We just want you to drink water. Bottle doesn't collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. There's no analytics, no tracking, and no account to create. Everything Bottle knows about you, your reminder schedule and your hydration history, lives only on your Mac.

What Bottle stores

Bottle saves your reminder schedule, appearance preferences, and hydration history log locally on your device. This data never leaves your Mac and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Bottle Pro purchases

Bottle Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles your payment details directly. Bottle never sees or stores your card information. We only learn whether your purchase was successful, exactly as Apple's StoreKit reports it to the app on your device.

Analytics and tracking

Bottle contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters that phone home, and no third-party trackers. We have no way of knowing how you use the app.

Third parties

The only third party involved at all is Apple, through the Mac App Store and StoreKit for the Bottle Pro purchase. Bottle does not share data with any other third party because it does not collect data to share.

Children's privacy

Bottle does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
